SERENAD

A gullet with a stylish interior and great attention to detail - SERENAD is a new and sophisticated yacht finished in 2004. It is 29 metres long and has 6 cabins – 1 master cabin with sofa, 2 double-bedded cabins, and 2 cabins with 2 single beds each and 1 cabin with a double and single bed. All cabins are air-conditioned but not 24 hour, it is switched on for a few hours after lunch for siesta and again during dinner until the last crewmember goes to bed. The en suite bathrooms have built in shower cubicles, house flush type toilets and hair dryers. The tastefully decorated salon has a bar, sofa seating and dining table.

The singular design of the gulets, Turkey’ s indigenous sea-going vessel, and now with traditionally made wooden modern ketch style boats like M/S Enderim - A blends practicality and tradition in a relaxed style that embodies a Blue Voyage. They are typically built of pine wood or mostly mahogany nowadays and styled with a pointed bow and round stern. Traditionally they have been hand made by master craftsmen from Bodrum area of Turkey, and hence are referred to as "the Bodrum area " crafts or sometimes also referred to as "Caiques". Homeport for these boats is Marmaris - an ideal starting-point for wonderful cruises in a part of the Mediterranen, which is renowned for its natural beauty and culture. Moreover, unlike many other boats that cruise along the Turkish coast, we also hoist our sails - whenever the winds allows!
These boats are luxuriously fitted out. You can relax in the shade under a canvas awning or enjoy the sun. Comfortable mats are supplied. There are two large tables for open-air dining. In addition, each boat contains a saloon, which is generously sized and bright.
The cabins are situated below deck. They each have two single beds or one large double bed, one small wardrobe, a chest of drawers and some shelving. All cabins are fitted with a separate WC and shower with hot and cold water. In addition, each cabin has air conditioning and portholes.

As a rule, these boats are chartered with full board. The cuisine is typical Turkish, which is said to be one of the best in the world. This cuisine consists of plenty of vegetables and salads, fruit, meat, rice and potatoes. Portions are generous. For breakfast there is coffee, tea, bread, jam, honey, olives, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, yoghurt and eggs. Lunch is usually a warm meal.
Around five o'clock in the afternoon there is "tea time" with biscuits. Dinner is a three-course meal - starter, main course and dessert (usually fruit). Coffee (Nescafe) and tea are free, all other beverages can be purchased at the bar.
